Visiting suspended on some hospital wards.

The North Cumbria Integrated Care Trust that operates the hospitals across North Cumbria has announced that visiting is currently suspended on some wards where the NCIC are managing infectious outbreaks.

The restrictions cover the NCIC hospitals including the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle and Penrith Community Hospital

The NCIC is asking that people check the ward information on the North Cumbria Integrated Care trust website before planning a visit to any of its hospitals.
