Three Lanes of Gridlock on M6 at J40

Traffic on the M6 south bound is gridlocked across all three lanes between Junction 41 and 40 this afternoon.

Traffic is also facing delays on the A66 heading onto J40 from the West.

A broken down Vehicle on the J40 slip road has added to the Friday afternoon delays.

Current delays on the M6 are resulting in wait times of upto 40 minutes for drivers between J41 and J40.
