Traffic is facing long delays on the M6 southbound this afternoon between junction 41 and Junction 40 with traffic queuing back past junction 41 facing delays of upto 30 minuites currently to travel to junction 40.
Delays with traffic both exiting onto J40 and the volume of traffic travelling through the roadworks and lane closures for the Clifton railway bridge are leading to the tailbacks as the post Christmas rush gets underway.
